1st tip over

Yesterday I had the Ver parked in the driveway behind my '69 Firebird 400 convertible. I was toying with the idea of mounting the Stebel horn behind the left tank fairing. I was on the bike needing to move it in the garage when it started to rain. Lost my footing and over it went. The good thing from all that, only light scratches on the bar end, engine case and radiator shroud since I had the tank fairing off on that side. Also I was fortunate that it only left a light scuff on the 'bird above the bumper where the mirror hit and swung out of the way. Thankfully the bike was easy to pick up! Still POed that it happened, but came out ok I guess.

Thanks, though I'm not sure it's something to applaud. Probably means I'm neglecting honey-do's or something...

Make sure that the kick stand is out all the way. I catch myself cheching it all the time. Just kicking it out doesn't always lock it in place.

Oh I had quite a few of those thrown in when I realized I had taken a bunch of skin off my shin and was bleeding. The scuf on the 'bird rubbed out. It's going to get a repaint, someday anyway.
