KAWASAKI has announced new colours for its 2010 model bikes, MULEs and ATVs. Most still come in the "Kwaka" green, although the company refers to it as "lime".
But there are some striking "candy" colours in the range, such as the Vulcan 900 Classic in "candy diamond blue", Vulcan 900 Custom in "candy persimmon red" or "candy surf blue", Ninja ZX-14 in "candy persimmon red" and the Versys in "candy burnt orange".
Most vehicles will arrive at the same manufacturer's list price as 2009.
Despite having the top-selling bike in the first half of this year – the EX250J learner – Kawasaki sales were down 4.1 per cent, mainly in ATVs, which decreased 11.5 per cent.
Apart from the new colours, the only changes to the 2010 range are in the KX450F motocrosser which includes a new chassis, new bridge-boxed piston, shorter exhaust and firmer seat, but no price rise.
