Flight of the Versys

G'Day Peeps. I've a short repost / re-edit of an earlier video up on my newest You Tube channel (StreetHawk2020). The Versys take flight or at least checks suspension compliance https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zU-finCkJyE

106mph onto a ramped wooden bridge? I hope your life insurance is paid up.

You don't have to go anywhere near 106mph to get 6 inches of the ground....

.... find a bigger bump.

May the road always curve in front of you.

It was surprisingly uneventful running the road at 80 mph. Just felt the front end get light. So progressively made a few more. That 106 being the final. Slight bit of front end wobble hinted I've pushed my luck enough. Wouldn't do it again if I could. A snow plow wrecked the bridge and the replacement has no ramp what so ever.

I know of a bigger bump. A flood plain area and a paved road over a raised railway crossing resembling an old school Ascot TT jump. I think a bit beyond the Versys flight envelope as I'd guess 3 to 5 feet of air would likely result at 60-70mph. Been eye balling it for a couple of years but holding out for something with a bit more suspension.

Yes I have snow it's been a long old fashioned winter here in Nova Scotia that's still hanging on. That original video footage has been in the can for awhile. I've just been doing some re-edits and placing them on the new'er StreetHawk2020 youtube channel. My original (motorcycle themed) channel Versys16060 has been spammed so bad with with people that think they can sing or rap artists I've decided to start fresh.
