Back when we had a stock centerstand, we'd remove it for better ground clearance and reduced weight... All you really need is the sidestand.

Thumbs up

MOTOWERK USA

"Our Standard Flatfoot was designed as a complimentary mod that provides increased stability and support to the bike, especially for those who park their bike on uneven or soft surfaces. It is an excellent solution for the lack of a center stand. In fact, it is better than a center stand because it is lighter, inobscure, and provides sure footing."

OK sure BUT if you are on a longer ride thru varying terrain and ground firmness and need to do some rear wheel or chain maintenance.........a centerstand would be nice. Some would prefer NOT to have one for the a fore mentioned reasons but there are quite a few on here that have been waiting for this day. To each his own I say. If YOU don't like them or want one then skip this post and move on.............

Now you can make a better informed decision... You should be thanking me for bringing the http://www.versatilebikersaccessories.com.my advertisement to light in the first place, and from which this thread came to exist.

I'd go in. I like center stands for ease of use on a long trip, removing tires etc..

I agree - you CAN change your tire or chain just on the side-stand w/ a "crutch-stand", as long as you take care.

I had a center-stand on my KLR, but I removed it after getting pi$$ed-off at how it 'got-in-the-way'...!

I'd probably be in. I can't find it on the site, though.

I'd know for sure if I could see the mounting instructions.

Contacting him directly at his email address is probably the best way to make it happen.

I wonder if the center stand is comparable with the two brothers exhaust?
