Question Bigger Rear Tire?

Will a BT016 170/60-17 fit on the Rear to replace OEM? Anyone put bigger rubber in the rear?

Some have gone with the 170. The Ninja 600 has a 180/55. Surely it would fit.

That's what I was hoping for......seen a couple of threads where people talk about 170's, but no mention of the BT016's......wasn't sure if they ran large or small for the actual sizing......I want the wider look in the rear....most of my riding is straight line highway, and can't see the twisties being affected that much by an extra 1/4"? or so of rubber width.......

Not sure about the BT 016's but my BT 020's ran narrow. I wouldn't worry about it. BTW, I run a Shinko 005 Advance 170/60 on my V and love it.

Falling down is your bodies way of saying you just screwed up.

Why you think that you need a 170 rear?
