#*@$% Cowl Bolt!

Anybody have a spare cowl bolt? You know, the stainless M6-1.0 18 with the allen hex? I'm missing one and can only find in batch of 18 for $22 plus shipping:

http://www.powersedge.com/pages/part.../Kawasaki.aspx

It's the 92153 bolt that holds the upper left and right cowling in place.

I'm still poking around various hardware stores. Any other ideas?

You can order them from your stealership. Probably something ridiculous like $3-$4 a piece, but that's better than$22 + shipping.

Yeah, I should just do that. I just never think about those guys any more...

Heck, I'd end up spending that on a single with shipping even if I found it.

Thanks for the reminder

Go to your Kawasaki dealer and they might even have such a common thing in stock, if not it will sure cost less than ordering 1 on the internet and having to pay shipping costs.

Been thinking of replacing all of my cowl bolts with black anodized stainless bolts. Might do it over the winter, when i'm wishing that damn ice and snow would melt.

I would just go to the dealership. I actually hang out at my dealership and help cook hotdogs on saturdays for the cust and employees, and I can honestly say as well as I've gotten to know everyone there, they would give me the bolt for free. Just a thought.
They even give me a 20-25% discount on almost everything I get from them.
