Question Wood Smell?

So I have notice that after riding hard and pulling into the garage I smell a wood burning smell. I have almost striped the bike apart looking for wood and nothing. It has had the smell scene I purchased the bike after I broke it in. Is this a problem? Or just a normal thing?

I've smelled something too, but I wouldn't say its a wood smell, it seems to come from the muffler and header area. Never smelled it parked outside, only indoors, it was parked outdoors for three months until the shop was built. I smelled something the first time I parked it indoors.
Remember, the stock muffler also contains a catalytic converter. Maybe really hot stainless steel has an odor. It could be stuff thrown up from the front wheel that has vaporized on the hot exhaust. I scratched my head, a few times, over this smell, I decided if it catches on fire or something the insurance will handle it.
Someone with an aftermarket exhaust might post in with a before and after smell evaluation, LOL

could be the cat in the exhaust

or it could be something you've picked up and its been deposited on the mud guard or radiator. if its not too intense I wouldn't concern yourself too much
