Leo Vince EVO II

About a month ago I installed a Leo Vince EVO II under-body slip-on muffler on my Versys.

Yesterday I was cleaning out my garage and was about to throw out the box the muffler came in and I found this round piece of metal with four holes cut into it.

I looked at the technical drawing but I cannot find where it goes.

If you any information on where this part goes please let me know.

Thanks,

Jaime

Bet it's a "decibal-killer". Will it fit into the end of the muffler w/ the tail-pipe then put into it?

To me it looks like it might fit in here:

But I am not sure. I sent an email to Lea Vince USA but I have not heard back.

"This disc is an extra sound reducer. You are correct in where it fits. It's mainly used in the European market. It reduces the sound down to about stock, but therefore will also reduce power and performance. It is not necessary and many customers choose not to use it"

Throw it into the sea and move on.

Thanks for the quick reply. It was driving me crazy thinking that it needed to be installed on the muffler.
