Unintentional testing of Hepco-Becker CBs

Bought my HB crash bars from this forum and thought they looked pretty slick and was hoping to never have to test out their functionality. Well I low sided making a left turn at about 30mph after hitting an unexpected gravel patch. Because of my Xelement armored jacket from leatherup.com, my HJC IS-Max Modular helmet, my HB crashbars and VPS Storm handguards, I came out of it with only a skinned left knee and a scraped up left crashbar and handguard. Bike slid on the left crashbar all the way to the right shoulder and worked perfectly upon standing it back up. I'm a firm believer even more so now of ATGATT and for those of you with untested HB crashbars, rest assured, they work!

Yep i've tested mine a couple of times. You can use a rattle can of primer/paint in satin black to touch them up.
