2010 Colors

Hello everyone I was curious to see if anyone had any inclination of what colors we will be getting in the US for 2010. I like the blue but the silver moondust looks so good. Does anyone think there is a chance we will see this stateside.

If it's still around for 2010, the US will probably get the Euro '09 colors; black, silver and orange.

I read that same thing too! This is not surprising since we will be invaded by aliens from outer space sucking up all of our natural resources forcing us to use some kind of radioactive goo that they will sell to us at a substantial profit. On the plus side it will enable us to go from 0-100 mph in 1.5 sec

I think it would be awesome in the candy metallic Rootbeer to match my Element SC! With copper badges and gauge trim. Just dreamin.

Discontinued? Due to lack of demand? IS the adventure bike market that tough?
If Buell can still make the Ulysses, I would hope the Versys would stand a chance.
Granted everyone is selling rather than buying in the US but still....
So will the Versys become a collectors item overnight?

Yes, yes, yes and yes

And no matter what, believe everything you read on the net.

For instance, I just read somewhere Honda will no longer be making Goldwings after this year because of the current economic situation and will be closing their american factory.

Hmm two years ago it was my understanding that Honda was going to close the Goldwing factory in america because they were making a brand new factory in Japan and would be moving production there.

But hey if someone put 2+2 together on the web and decided to post into some kind of blog it must be true, no more Goldwings

My dealer said that is one of their most popular models. Hard to believe they would discontinue.

If anything I wouldn't be surprised if they made it to a 1000cc model to compete with the Tiger and Ulysses. So I doubt it would be discontinued.

I read somewhere about the 1000. Saw a concept photo. Man I wish. I'd be all over that!
At 6'2" and 230 the 650 V works hard for me. Love it. Would keep it. But man if a grand V came out I'd have to beg the warden for one more toy!

It would make sense... I mean the Versys (to my understanding) was basically a competition piece for the V-Strom, Triumph, and Ulysses... and those all have a liter+ option or default. and as a few have said, they would trade up to the liter version, which would be awesome, as then there would actually be some used Versi(?) out there to purchase. ;0)
