Why you should wear a helmet

This video is old (1994) but I think it's a funny way to show any of your friends why it's stupid not to wear helmets or maybe even novelty ones. I know I sent it to a guy I know who takes his off in PA when he rides.

Farkles:

That's funny. It sure doesn't take a sledge hammer to convince me. The force of an impact with a June bug is all the convincing I've needed to wear a helmet every time.

I was recently riding "the Great River Road" from MN/WI to MO/IL and was amazed at the casual approach to riding the northerners I saw had. Girls were sunning themselves on the back of the bikes and the riders were wearing shorts, T-shirts, and sneakers. Seeing someone with any gear at all was very rare. I wonder what they thought of me in all my gear.

People who wear helmets have something insde their heads to protect. I guess those who don't is because they don't have much worth protecting.

My Last Aussie trip i saw riders on sports bikes, wearing nothing but singlets, shorts and jandels (thongs) doing 110 kph on a busy motorway.
