Brake light not working! Reminder do safety check on your bike!

Hand brake was not lighting brake light on safety check?

Fired off pm to Capn Kirk as he has the same bike 2010. Thought I was missing something like bike must be in gear or something silly.

Not the case Capn. said check plugs ins and sure enough plug was off switch! That is a bad switch to be out!

I don't know how it came off and went on really tight!

A reminder to safety check to all my fellow riders!

Tire presure too!

Thanks for the reminder. I always try to remember to check my brake lights every ride but I manage to actually remember every 10 times but better than nothing.

I TRY to check brake lights on every ride by watching the grill area of the car behind in my mirrors when I'm waiting at a traffic light, for its reflection.

actually, it is VERY EASY to quickly check all of your lights
AND your chain slack, plus feel of both brakes BEFORE EVERY RIDE

a quick walk around to look for other items too should be a part of every pre-ride you do.

Start the bike on the kickstand, and as it warms for 1 minute, or maybe 2, do the inspection

Make it a priority, save your own life!
