'09 Rims on '11 Versys

Hey everyone,

I have the option of buying a set of rims off a 2009 versys. Everything including the axel.

I just want to make sure this is going to be just a drop in set. I'll make make sure the sprocket is the same as mine or just put a new one on if worn.

I have land 200mi. away in the county while I live in the cities. I would like to have a set of street tires then just swap out when I get there for dual sport tires.

Thanks for any input!

Lucky guy

I would love to have a second set of wheels with dirt tires, but wayyyyyy to expensive for anything that I can find.

Enjoy

like they all said--it fits.

AND: to make it even easier, you can take your current cush drive with the sprocket already on it and mount it on the other wheel set.
in the Kawasaki parts oem info, they call it:
COUPLING-ASSY,RR HUB

Just a thought. Check to see if disc brake rotor wear is about the same on both sets of wheels. Brake pads bed into the rotor. You may have different brake pedal/lever feel untill the pads bed into the new dics.
