Givi / Kawasaki hard luggage

Well, I got tired of waiting for the OEM hard luggage and racks to be available so I canceled my order, got my Kawasaki dealer to become a Twisted Throttle rep and ordered the SW-Motech quick detach racks with V35 Givi bags, Barkbusters hand guards and SW-Motech engine guard. I would like the cool lime green trim available from Kawasaki and in fact kept that on order with Kawasaki. Anyone know if the trim pieces are interchangeable? Looking at the pictures, the pieces look the same.

My toys:
'09 Versys in Cool Lime ~ '06 Harley Roadking
'95 Suzuki DR350S ~ '94 Suzuki DR350S
'09 Kawi STX15F jet ski ~ '07 Kawi STX12F Jetski
'09 Yamaha Superjet ~ '13 Ram 4X4 3500 Cummins
'09 BMW 535i ~ '10 Kubota B3300SU

I am about to cancel my bag order with the dealer too. A month is just to long with out a response.

I already ordered the SWMotek racks and they are installed. I too will keep the green side panels on order and hope they actually come in.

Twisted throttle will have bags to me in 4 days.

Also waiting...

What gives with these backordered bags? I ordered mine when I bought the bike at the end of February, and last week they said it will be another month. I don't blame you guys for moving on, but I'm going to wait. Still pissed off, though...

My dealer was told by the distributer that the bags don't meet federal standards because of a side reflector. They are trying to make a fix from what I understand. Supposedly, the bags are in a warehouse but they can't ship them without the reflector fix.

That dog don't hunt.

I just checked a few of the bikes in the garage.

TS185 reflectors on frame.
SV650S reflectors blocked by Givi bags.
KTM 625 SMC reflectors on frame.
Honda Shadow with NC hardbags, non functional reflectors on bags (Givi V35 has fake non functional reflectors too.)
Buel XB12 reflectors on frame.
Triumph Trophy no reflectors on bags none you can see on the frame.
FZ1 no reflectors on frame that can be seen when Givi bags on. No reflectors on Givi bags.
KLR no reflectors on frame that can be seen when Givi bags on. No reflectors on Givi bags.
MP3 250 reflectors every where.
Versys reflectors on frame removed for SWMoteck rack install.

I doubt there is some DOT hols up. Stick on reflectors would be a simple cheap add on to the bags.
