Was at Deals Gap last week

What a great week of excellent weather. Rode my R1 all week and got home yesterday. We haul the bike down there. Got on the Versys today and seems alittle under powered.. LOL!!

Still like my Versys, hope to take it next time.

you're comparing between a 4-cylinder litre bike and a 650 twin. What power?

Current : Maroon 2011.
- Fender Extender - Radiator Guard - 19mm Nissin radial master - Nissin 4-pot caliper - SS brake lines - Osram Hyper 65W both low/high beam - LED 30w aux floodlights & 3w DRLs - Rear Hugger - Givi crash guards - Yoshimura TRC Carbon - Dynojet PC5 - Scottoiler - R1 shock with Ohlins 14.2 kg/mm spring - Imitation Givi Windshield - Rear Givi rack with 24ltr Givi top box - Bosch dual tones - Z800 stock mirrors.

Up next :
- Protaper SE ATV Low - PIAA Platinum low

Ride the Dragon at least once a week. The Versys is my first choice over the VFR and Tiger 800 most times. The tighter the mountain roads or the worse the surface the more fun the Versys becomes but the you give up so little in the faster stuff.

The Girl and I fight over who gets the V when the going gets technical.

I have to admit I get a kick out of this comment. When I started riding, the epitome was a Triumph Bonneville (650 twin BTW... ), and it had ONLY 40 horsepower.

My Vs are WAY better (and FASTER!).
