Front Fender Question

It seems a while back I saw a Versys with a black front fender that seemed more of a satin black / carbon fiber finish. I have tried to find the year/color of Versys that had it but can't seem to find it. Anyone have this front fender or can push me in the right direction?

eddie is right, 2010 was the year

I saw a couple of others mentioned, or maybe they were in the for sale section, but not necessarily listed with a front fender title.

I did look ar the OEM Parts for years 2009 and up, and that looked like the Stock OEM Fender, as designed and sold. However, they came in a shiny black plus other colors depending on the year.

The matte black must have been an owners custom work that he sprayed on the OEM Fender (2009 +)

yep.....it looked very nice too!

Thanks! I ordered a new green front fender but am thinking I may do some playing around with the old fender. I have used some of the rustoleum bed liner spray before that results in a very fine even texture. I will pick some more up and give it a try, if it turns out like the plastic trim texture under the tank or around the headlight it might like nice.

The 2010 fender has some changes that went along with the light and cowls. It's more angular and has a little more drop at the back. The color is a metal-flake. A flat or satin would be better, at least for installing with the 1st gen bikes. I can live with it though.
