Clean the Wheels

Anybody else notice how easy it is to clean the wheels with a little WD-40 on a soft cloth then simply wipe? Is there anything WD-40 isn't good for?

The Honda Spray Polish & Cleaner (original formula) works great on wheels and other greasy, grimy stuff as well!

I've always used Goop or a generic hand cleaner.

Always use WD-40 to remove grease from the wheels and it does indeed work wonders, once I'm done with that I clean with car soap to remove the WD-40 film that could attract dust.

Actually, i'm embarrassed to say, I've switched to the WalMart imitation stuff. For about $1.50 per can . . . you can't go wrong (well, I guess you could go wrong if you decided to clean your brake rotors with the stuff! - note to self - DON'T DO THAT !!) I use it to spray the chain then spin the wheel while holding a rag around the chain. This cleans it, then I follow with the spray lube. I haven't found the need for a "grunge" type brush. Maybe I just don't let my chain get dirty enough. That's a good thing!

Simple Green's great for all the greasy bits, including your hands when you're done.

I use WD-40 on the muffler to wipe all the crud off as well. Also cleanse the carbon on the exhaust tip really well. I feel like the light film also keeps carbon and crud from sticking after the clean as well. I do not wash the WD off the muffler.

I used armor all on my motorcycle seat on my first bike when I was 16. Do not recommend that to anyone.
