Wow...

I hadn't been on a bike for 30 years or so, but 10 months ago I bought an '08 KLR 650 and put 4400 miles on it. I really liked the bike, but needed a bit more.
I found a (very cool) young guy that needed to trade his '08 Versys for a KLR and we struck a deal that was a + for us both.
I rode the Versys home, about 30 miles, a couple of hours ago.
Wow, what a difference!
I love the sensitive steering, the power, the SOUND!
The seat, leg room (I'm 6'3"), the buzz in the instrument array, not so much.
I know there's a lot of info about those items, I'll search before any questions, but Holy ****! What a great bike!

I did a lot of reading on this site and others and I just wanted to say, THANKS!

Have fun on the V.

And if we hear that in ten months time you have only put 4400 miles on it, you go to the naughty chair.

Ride happy

Right on, enjoy the new to you V. The "buzz" is an easy fix and well worth doing for a [U]much [U] more enjoyable ride.

Well, I admit I get a little wimpy when there's snow on the ground...

of course there are some nutters who fit studs to their tyres and go racing on snow and ice.

each to their own.

Kim, If I don't, I owe you a Foster's! Or, your choice. (maybe Foster's isn't your favorite. All we know is marketing bs up here!)
I idolize your land down-under! (Except that I really like my guns...)

In that case, just leave the bike in the shed.

The Little Brewing Company is north of here. They make this stuff called Wicked Elf. Gets my vote.

I wonder if they do gift vouchers

Doctor, If that's the case we need to do a bit more research! I'm open to any and all hops related studies.
Don't know much about Elves, (I knew a very sexy little person a long time ago but that's another story...), but I'm open to all fermentation research!

I live in Idaho, we have some noteworthy micro breweries here, also!
First 4 or 5 are on me if you happen to visit...

Ps. The bike is not staying in the shed, regardless.
