I picked up my V this evening and added it to my toys. I think I have one for every occasion now.

I'm in western Maryland, on the WV line. I put 11,000 miles on the SM last year. With the V, you're in range.

Yes I removed the hand rails. I'm 5'7' (on a good day) and kept hitting it with my foot while getting on. I thought I better help myself before it threw me down.

I have a black 07 DRZ SM parked next to the blue V. Sometimes I can't decide which to ride. They are both fun.

I have a seventeen year old son. After he completes a motorcycle saftey coarse in April, I'll have a new riding buddy. He's been kicking my butt offroad for several years now. I'm just using this as a way to steal more time with him.

After lurking here and lusting over BicycleBobs pictures, I finally decided to buy the V over a Strom. Now I'd like to duplicate my Green V into something very close to Bobs. It's not coping,.... mines green.

Besides being short, I have fat fingers. Copying instead of coping. And just to be perfectly clear, I was lusting over the pictures of Bobs motorcycle, not Bobs picture.

Sure you were...

Ya know, they say those slip ups are from the sub-conscious truth...

Ty, your not too far from me. And it sounds like we dig the same stuff. I'm a trail hound at heart. But since there is so little dirt riding in this area, I'm really enjoying adv. riding and dual sporting. Check out this link, it may be a good adventure for you and your son: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=409244
