We get that here almost daily. At least you can see the road for some distance. here you are almost blind...

There is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes, or the case of the bike, bad choice in waterproofing your kit



The muffs kept my gloves dry, more so than the hand guards alone. The panniers were fine, but inside I had my stuff in thick plastic bags or else they get wet when you open them. My tank bag has a very waterproof cover with tight elastic to keep it in place. The tail bag did not have a very thick or tight cover, but both the cover and the bag itself was covered in Nick Wax tent waterproofing which works very well.

I recently made a trip of 2600km and was impervious gloves and a new clothing I bought tutto ... show the ball.

@Throttled, those handlebar covers look like they'd protect from the cold excellently.
