The farkling is complete

The list is long, but the bike turned out nice. I will post the complete list at the end of the photos.

The cockpit.

Touratech GPS mount.

ADVmonster lights on bright.

Stebel mounted in the OEM position.

OEM handguards and Tuano mirrors.

Soft bag supports and Powerbronze hugger.

Radiator guard and Venhill brake lines.

Farkle list:

Kawasaki: Handguards/Grip Heaters/Powerlet.
Powerbronze: Touring Windshield/Rear Tire Hugger.
SW Motech: Crash Guards/LED Light Mounts/Tail Rack.
Speedy: Lowering Kit/Flatfoot/Footpeg Lowering Kit, Front and Rear/Risers
Touratech: Garmin Nuvi GPS Mount. Hardwired to electrical system.
EP:Fenda Extenda/Radiator Guards
Fuzeblock
PIAA Bulbs
LED's: ADVmonster driving lights/City Light/Plate Lights.
Stebel Nautilus Horn.
Venhill Steel Braided Brake lines. The bike brakes 100% better now.
EBC HH pads.
T Rex Front Axle Sliders
Aprilla Tuano Mirrors
Grip Puppies. I have these on all my bikes.
Go Cruise Throttle Control. I have these on all my bikes.
Soft Bag Supports. Purchased from a member here.
Back Off Taillight Flasher.
AirHawk Seat Cushion.
Suzuki RM85 Footpegs.
Supersprox Rear Sprocket.

The bike is set up for light touring. It's one I don't think I'll be getting rid of. I have other bikes for other missions.

Thanks for looking.

Nothing's too cruel if it's funny enough.

Very nice. I have many similar mods myself on mine.

List :
Fender extender/rear rubber flap (instead of hugger)
HEL S/S brake lines with upgraded pads
R&G fork sliders/EvoTec swingarm bobbins
12v powerpoint
Keis heated grips
Ramball for GPS (have been thinking about the TT mount, but not sure)
Leo Vince underbody silencer
ER6n bellypan
Custom seat
SW-Motech AluRack (Givi 33ltr topbox)
Durite compact front DRL's
SW-Motech footrests
ET rad guard
Stebel Magnum horn
KTM handguards with R&G bar ends
SuperSprox rear sprocket (not on at the present)
Givi V35 panniers

Needed:
SW-Motech Q/R pannier brackets
MRA screen (not the vario)
Bridgestone BT023's

And once finished, I'll sell it to buy the new Triumph Tiger 1050 Sport.

Oh, and farkling is never complete !!

Good luck exploring the infinite abyss

I'd be willing to bet, by the time this thread is over you will have several suggestions for more farkles. I like the GPS mount too, pretty slick.

Oh no!!

I had no idea that farkling could ever be complete. Could it be true? If so, a massive bubble has burst and I'm devastated!

Should I consider returning the Kawasaki-branded Klingon disruptor?

That's probably true about the farkles.

I would like to try that flat seat I see on here from time to time. I just can't get comfortable with the OEM seat. I've tried others too.

Very nice setup. I see that you have the tether for a hit-air jacket on there- I take it you ride with one of their jackets or vests? I do too and had wondered at the lack of mention on the board of them. Which model do you use?

Yea, I forgot to add that in. I have the vest. I really like it, I hope I never have to use it.

I forgot to add, the Pirnie mod.

And... I filled my handlebar with BB's.

I'm going on a 300 or so mile run on Tuesday. We'll see how it all goes.

Very nice! I am compelled to warn you about the Stebel. I had a Screaming Banshee horn (basically same thing) in the stock position, and a couple weeks ago it broke the stock mount. Did some research and found some other people have had the same issue, supposedly just due to the extra weight of the big horn and compressor. I would recommend searching for another place to mount yours, because if it breaks like mine did, you'll come home and see your expensive horn hanging by a single wire.

My mechanic devised a much stronger mount. It won't be going anywhere.

It's hard to tell from the photo, but is the Stebel is mounted to the point on the bike where the OEM horn goes? Even if there's a better mounting method between the horn and the bike, the weak point is where you attach anything to the bike where the OEM horn was designed to go. The weight of the Stebel will fatigue that spot. It happened to me and several others have posted with similar results.

If your mechanic mounted the Stebel to a different point, that's good. I'd be curious to see how and where, if you wouldn't mind taking some more photos. If he mounted it to the OEM spot, pay him a visit for an upgrade.
