Quick verification of some things

I'm gettting a 10k check up done but not from the manufacturer and to save time and money I want to get oil/filter/brake pads/tires on my own and have him install them for me. I got tires already (PR3's).

I'm sure someone can answer this rather quickly... will the following work?
http://www.amazon.com/2009-Kawasaki-VERSYS-Oil-Change/dp/B00BL552E2/ref=sr_1_4?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1364534697&sr=1-4&keywords=kawasaki+versys+oilhttp://www.amazon.com/EBC-Brakes-FA231HH-Sintered-Copper/dp/B006B28896/ref=au_pf_ss_1?ie=UTF8&Make=Kawasaki%7C729&Model=KLE650%20Versys%7C18318&Year=2009%7C2009&carId=003&n=15684181&s=automotive
And will these fit/whats the difference between the two? Other than price I can't tell...
http://www.amazon.com/Galfer-Sportbike-Stainless-Hydraulic-FK003D647-2/dp/B001AVU2EW/ref=au_pf_ss_2?ie=UTF8&Make=Kawasaki%7C729&Model=KLE650%20Versys%7C18318&Year=2009%7C2009&carId=003&n=15684181&s=automotivehttp://www.amazon.com/Galfer-Sportbike-Stainless-Hydraulic-FK003D647R/dp/B000WJAPAE/ref=au_pf_ss_1?ie=UTF8&Make=Kawasaki%7C729&Model=KLE650%20Versys%7C18318&Year=2009%7C2009&carId=003&n=15684181&s=automotive
Any other suggestions on things to look into for a 10k check would be appreciated. I'm new to this and there's SO much info on this site that I can't decide on one thing or the other.

Thanks in advance

I'd save the money and do the oil change myself. I had the Galpher SS Lines put on over a year ago and really like them didn't change the brake pads then.but getting ready to do that before i go on my coast to coast and back trip coming up but when i have that done i'm going to have the throttle bodys synced and a valve clearance check.

Those will work... First Galfer lines link is the front dual brake lines (not a 3-line OEM setup), second is the rear line.

There should be some guy that just walks into Invader's office and says "Killed it." after he posts.

+1 so true....

If the convenience of having it delivered to your door is worth $10+ to you, I guess that oil changing "kit" makes sense. I'd just go to Wally's and get the Shell Rotella full syn (better oil than that Kawi stuff> dino? semi?) and a 7317 (pick the brand) filter for around $25 total; every other time it is under $20 (you only need 2 quarts) because there is half a quart left from the previous change.

I replaced my OEM brakes with the EBC HH pads and I believe they are just as good if not better than stock pads. I am curious why you need to replace yours so soon...10K miles and they are shot? I replaced my originals at a little over 20K and they still had at least 1/4 of the pad remaining, probably more like 1/3. Perhaps, your type/style of riding requires you to work your brakes harder...or you prefer to replace your pads once they get near 50%.

As stated, the more expensive SS line is the front, the other is the rear. I get the switch to a SS line in front; any improvement in the front brakes is worth it IMO. At my buddy's shop he always asks, "Honestly, are you using the stock brakes to their fullest potential now? No? Why do you feel you need more brake power then?" The rear? I am not a big fan of a SS line in the rear unless it is just for appearance or "bling's sake?" Is there really a need more braking power from the rear brake? Personally, I think rear brake is fine stock. For many (less than very experienced) riders, a more powerful rear brake presents more problems than solutions, IME.

As far as the 10K check...I'd also have a look at the air filter about now...it just might need a cleaning and servicing...

You guys are super helpful, as usual, thanks invader, weljo, and rocky.

Rocky, I was going to replace the stock brakes because they're squeaking a bit and I was under the impression that this meant it was almost time for new pads. I don't know how the guy before me rode it but I purchase the bike with 6k miles on it and did nearly 4k myself in the 6 weeks I had it last summer.

As for the steel lines... I won't be doing the back, I just couldn't tell the difference but these guys cleared it up for me. I was hoping the front was the less expensive one

Anyway, cheers guys!
