My Versys is falling to bits!

Well not really that bad but my right hand mirror is a bit sad, it starting moving around on way to work and on the way home at end of day mirror was bouncing all over the place so stopped on side of the road and plastic just broke in two into my hand.

Time for a mirror up grade so what does the team recommend?

KTM Duke or Aprillia Tuono mirrors are practical and look good. I know from experience.

I just finished adding some Aprilia Tuono mirrors five minutes ago. Took a quick drive and I think I need to do a little more adjusting but they're good quality.

What i like most is they bolt down so theres not slipping. They look good and as far as seeing things i would say there on par with the Z1000 mirrors. You can see how they work in my last video. Watch it on YouTube at 720dpi Large Screen.

Look good but my slow broadband struggles with the 720 dpi at times due to my 8km distance from nearest phone exchange.

Do those silver extenders at the bottom come with the mirrors?

Those are moto werks mirror extenders. They've just faded over the last 3 years. I'm going to touch them up i already have the paint from when i touched up the crash bar.

I am completely satisfied with the Tuono Mirrors after 5000 plus miles of use.

I purchased my mirrors from:

I put new mirrors on too. The left one I would have to adjust about 5 times in a 30 mile ride. Never kept its position and the plastic on both mirrors were badly cracked. So I bought sw motowerks extenders and these mirrors from Dennis Kirk. https://www.denniskirk.com/black-uni...or.p391505.prd
They look pretty good and will STAY PUT.

I did not have good luck with the Tuono mirrors, but since I bought them off eBay, I can't be certain they were factory and not cheap knock-offs. See this thread if you want the gory details: http://www.kawasakiversys.com/forums...t=18440&page=4 , posts #76 and 80. I ended up putting the factory 2010 Kawa mirrors back on, and actually don't mind them now. Build quality (paint particularly) is pretty good. Using a motowerks mirror extender on the left side, right side doesn't need one. Just my experience....

Someday is not a day of the week.

I bought my Tuonos mirrors at a Aprillia Dealership so I know they are the real deal and they cost about $45.00 for the pair as I recall. I find them rock solid and blur free. The Kawasaki mirrors were useless on the 2012 Versys. Funny thing was I put them on my KLR and they're great!

Or was that look THEN leap?

Phil, excessive fun riding...
Many choices for aftermarket mirrors as the Guys mention.
Using these and happy with the rear coverage and non-buzzing.

Have ordered the ones that weljo sent link of the universal ones and also ordered speedys extenders.

Maybe old ones did come to bits from excessive fun riding.

I bought Genuine Aprilla mirrors. They have them in stock in NZ. No need for mirror extenders. I am more than happy. Look good as well.
