State 2 State Bike transportation..

Hey gang,

Is there any such service that will transport your bike to a destination. for example. I live in Phoenix & want to vacation in Michigan but don't want to ride my bike up there. I just want 2 ride my bike in Michigan. I'd fly out & meet my bike. Any thoughts/insight

Yep, but it will cost you.

They are all about the same. If you can do it depot to depot its about half the price.

yes that would be an expensive proposition...maybe looking into renting would make more financial sense. A dealer may even rent you a used bike? or the insurance industry may not allow that.

Wink

There are plenty of places that rent motorcycles. And they only rent used bikes, usually Harleys. They are used bikes because people rent them and ride them. That would make them used, not new. ;o)

Most of the rental agencies are clustered around scenic citys like Denver, or San Francisco, etc.

Just go to google.com and type in - motorcycle rentals michigan - and see what comes up.

what i meant was hit up a kawi dealer and see if they will rent you one of their used Versys so you can ride the same bike. Reason i suggested that is my ducati dealer does it...and i would never rent a harley.

You might get lucky...The place that rents in San Francisco rents everything, Bimmers, KTM's, Versys and of course the requisite hogs...Good luck

If I new what I was doing, I wouldn't still be working
