Robbie Maddison New Years Eve Jump

Last night I watched the Robbie Maddison New Years Eve Jump live from Las Vegas. It was totally awsome and the most dangerous thing I've ever seen anyone do on a motorcycle. How many of you out there watched it?

The building was 96 feet high. Jumping to the top of the building was the easy part. The hard part was riding off the building to a landing ramp. He came pretty close to the bottom of the ramp when he landed. He landed really hard and you could see his head almost hit the handlebars from the impact. He cut his hand to the bone and said he thinks he broke his hand. There's alot of videos on YouTube of the jump.

Truly amazing.

I watched Robbie Knievel (son of Evil) doing a comparatively tame jump also in Vegas on FOX network at midnight.

Compared to this guy it was like jumping in a lake. He is the Fxxking man as the commentator said.

I work at the Paris in Vegas and to see this ramp as it was being built was pretty crazy. The final product was huge. You don't realize how tall that Arc is until you are standing at it.

Very cool jump to watch and glad to see he came out with minor injuries. He says he's coming back next year and doing something bigger and better so I can't wait to see what he's got in mind.
