2000 Mile North Carolina Trip

What a great week. Left Orlando, FL on 10/6 and rode to Highland, NC.
After that, we did the Blue Ridge Pkwy, went to Gatlinburg, TN, Deals Gap, Charohola, then rode down and stopped in Savannah, GA on the way home.

My 2015 Versys, now has 15k. Ran great....Lube the chain up a few times on the trip..and my headlight went out, but that was it.

I just got back today from spending a week, stayed at Kickstand Lodge in Stecoah on the Moonshiner(NC 28). Did the Dragon, Cherohala, Wayah road three times plus a bunch of back roads.

Didja perhaps eat at Caffee Rel in Franklin? Awesomely different menu and different decor, in the same building as a gas station. Killer Blue Crab bisque and Gyros. Very moderately priced.

Or Telico Grains Bakery in Telico Plains? Killer cheap pizza.

If not, you had best head back.

Good to see you out and about.

Yeah, if you want true ram air tuning, you better be willing to ram some air! (SteveinSunnyFlorida)

nice ride. you will get the good samaritan award for riding such a good looking bike with a bunch of harleys. it's odd how the headlight bulbs go out in these bikes. was it the low beam? my low beam went out in the first 100 miles.

yes..it's the 2nd time, my low beam went out....first time was like a week after my NC trip...this time was a year later, 4 days into my NC trip....
But, hey...one of the Harleys on our ride, had an error code come up, the bmw 1200gs had to get 2 tires and the other 1200gs had fuel pump issue...so, I'll take a headlight going out...any day.....

That's why Kawasaki give tools with the bike, so you can fix the Harleys etc.
