V-650 Model changes from 2015 through 2019

Lots of research and I can't find what is the differences for each model starting with the 2015 V-650. I'm mainly interested in buying a 2015 or new V-650 LT. I do know they added the gear indicator in 2017 and each year has different colors other than that I can't find the differences.
Will someone please point me to a thread with the info or share what they know. I greatly appreicate it.
Thanks
Eric

Eric, I believe thatís it as far as changes between the 15-19 model years (at least for the US models).

I believe they also added wheel striping and 17-19 models had some differences in the ECU.

Thanks Bob, that’s good to know. I did finally notice the pin stripping difference over the weekend.
Looks like I have decided on a 2015 v-650LT green color. Should pickup this weekend if all goes well.
Thanks again.

Good choice! Of all the farkles you may do to it, I recommend you put the Shoodaben Engineering ECU Flash high on your list!

Bob what can I expect from the ECU flash? I'm very new to these bikes.
Thanks

I can't say enough about how great the Shoodaben ECU flash is on my 2015. He now can flash the newer model years, too. #1 best add-on to my 2015 V650.

BTW, Lots of choices for wheel striping on the internet, thin, thick, broken, solid, and of course many colors. Here's my 2016 with a medium thickness solid wheel stripe. Pretty easy to apply too.

GREAT color choice!

BTW - w/ 73,xxx kms on my '15 V650LT I've decided NOT to get the "flash" done, as I'm used to how the GREEN HORNET TOO operates, so I don't see a need....

Thanks guys for the feedback and info. I'm going to force myself to just ride it for a while before I start adding to it. It's very stock, so I can make it my own. I will be adding an SAE cable-plug right away for cell phone charging and running my tire pump if needed. Also some type phone mount after I see where I want to place it.
Other than that just get to know the bike and hope it fits me well. I'm 6'2" with a 34" in-seem and 200lbs.
Thanks
Eric

FYI, the 250$ (US) ECU flash doesn't include an ECU...

It would be a lot more interesting if I could avoid sending an ECU (the one, or a spare) to a stranger. But they would probably charge 1250$ then.

I rode 100'000km with stock ecu mapping; no complaint here.

You can trust Shoodaben with your ecu! The turnaround time was quick. With my work schedule it didn't cause any downtime from riding. I wouldn't send an expensive part like the ecu to some unknown schmoe who didn't have a good track record of delivering on their promises.
