Versys 650 Gossip from Zack Courts

Just got a kick out of this on Zack Courts' Instagram page. Apparently Ari Henning bought his V650 and Spencer is getting one this weekend. High praise when you consider all the bikes those guys get to ride.

I would say they should do a Versys ride for an On 2 Wheels episode, but Zack and Ari just signed on with Motor Trend and all their future content is paywalled.

Yeah I'm hoping that there is a free version where you can watch ads or something. An on two wheels Versys ride would be awesome though.

FWIW - Marc Cook who used to be the editor of MOTORCYCLIST when the Versys was declared MOTY [Motorcycle of the Year], also bought a V 650, way-back-when, AND was an 'Inmate' on this Forum.

I don't understand this term paywalled. What are you young-uns talking about?

Motor Trend requires paying a monthly subscription to watch their videos now, they pulled down all their YouTube videos earlier this year. Same thing as when a news site requires you to buy a subscription to read the articles.

I've considered it as they have a promo of $30 for a full year and a lot of their videos are pretty good if you are into cars.

Paywal mean you have to pay for the content. In this case $50 a year.

Motor Trend has a "youtube" like site. Its REALLY good if you like auto and motorcycle racing. They have lots of live racing and regular "tv like" shows.
