Now my Versys is elite

My '08 just past elite mileage (31337 miles). Now good old Bucephalus can wear his (fastest) red color with pride.

The "B" was Alexander's main ride...I think, a very special steed.

Is the question about Alexander the Great or the bike being elite?

I get that the name comes from Alexander the Great's horse. What is this "elite mileage"?

My bandwidth here is a mess, sorry for the delayed in response.

31337 is an internet meme meaning "elite". There is another version which is just 1337 meaning "leet" - for when you are so elite and cool, your are just "leet".

Think of the 3 as an "e", the 1 as an "l" and the 7 as a "t".

Thanks for all of those who know who Bucephalus was. Even better is the fact that Bucephalus means "ox headed" which, I suppose, is not a great compliment for a horse. I think it works well for the gen-1 Versys.

And I call my Versys Bucephalus. I name all of my vehicles.

Well, Los Alamos is the birthplace of the atomic bomb. That may explain a lot about Mursili's posts.

Wow almost sorry I asked...Lol.

Being an old guy I am certainly not up on all this "code talk." The youth of today has created an entirely new lexicon that my generation knows nothing about.

Perhaps it's time to call one of the local tribes and ask for help from their code talker.

Oh, man... Leet is soooooo 1991... Old guys like us have no idea what the cool kids are doing these days. It's probably all mychat and snapspace and whatnot. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go turn up my Freedom Rock records.

Sounds like you are more up to date on the times than I am..Lol.

Now let me give you my interpretation of those 3 whatevers.

Mychat....Looks like the short version of "My Chart" where I can view my test results on line.

Snapspace... Is an oxygen bar where snapping turtles hang with their friends.

Whatnot...is what my hearing is doing these days. What??? not hearing you.

And don't forget "Old Guys Rule." Still trying to figure out just what it is that we rule.
