Horn Upgrade Denali Mini Soundbomb

Just received this at work, so I hopped out at lunch to install it. Simple plug and play. Sounds much louder to my ears, definitely not twice as loud as the package says, but still fricken loud.... although I'm not sure it translated to video well. Overall I'd say 8/10 value for money upgrade ($40 from fortnine.ca)

Stock Horn:

Denali Mini Bomb:

2010 Aprilia Shiver 750 "Ruthy"
2018 Kawasaki Versys 650LT ABS "Lucy"

A big improvement over stock. But I went with these dual tone hellas for $10. Had to make my own wiring rig but $3 at the auto parts store if you didn't already have misc wiring stuff sitting around. Sounds maybe a bit louder than the one you put on, but so hard to tell over video. I just wanted the high/low note.

FWIW - an increase of 3 dB will DOUBLE the sound level!

Yeah I don't quite remember, but just a tiny bit smaller or the same size ea as the stock. In fact I used the stock mount bolt and nut with them angled side by side. I cant quite hear it at freeway speeds but its loud enough to get someones attention if they have their windows up in town. The stock horn, there was no hope of that.

I have the WOLO BadBoy (Stebel Nautilus 'clone') in both my Vs. You CAN hear it at highway speeds....

Here's my Stebel Nautilus. Extremely loud! Fitted to a home made bracket that goes up to the ABS line mount and fixed with a zip tie... In this case a relay is a must.

To the OP. I hope your Denali Mini lasts longer than mine. It lasted for nearly 5 months before it quit working. No idea why it stopped working. Back to stock for my V.

Here's hoping! Did you enjoy it whilst it was functional?

I installed the Mini Soundbomb last year. So far so good. Agree, it's not ear-shattering loud but it's a simple install and has a much deeper and noticeably louder sound. I've had no issues with mine so far.

I use the Fiaam hiway blaster rated at 130 db, can’t beat it for the money, pretty much plug and play.

I did like it a lot. Wasn't necessarily louder, but sounded much "bigger". I hope they all last forever for those that have them.

Here's what I use and if you look hard enough you'll find it even cheaper... it's damn near identical to the others and works PERFECTLY .... just had to wire in a battery fed relay for more current and it works just awesome... save some gas money and get this puppy
