The worst part of it is, he looked himself right into that Vette- the bike isn't even trying to turn at that point. We go where we look- THAT'S the lesson!

Little more to the story!

Look closely at frame number 10. He started a sideways skid (looks like he was hitting a pipe to ground) and the bike was going to lay down. He corrected only to be whipped upright. You know the feeling!

At that point he did not brake or try and turn!

The really sad thing about this is after the crash, whoever cleaned up the wrecks didn't do a good job of cleaning up the fluids....a local hit it later that day and flew off the road and was seriously injured...critical condition I believe. The guy in the above pics only had minor injuries.
