A farkling journey

So, I bought my '09 V new, May 26th, 2012 with 10 miles on the ticker. It now has around 1600 miles, yeah I know it should have more. But there have been a couple of week long sessions where it has sat parked in the garage partially torn apart waiting on items, and being diabetic, I have days where I'm just not "normal" in the morning and don't feel like attempting an impression of evil kneivel on my way to work. Not to mention every few weeks I'm out of town for 3 days. Regardless, it has been a journey, one I'm not done with yet. Have 6 or 7 items planned over the next few months and winter, including maybe some custom paint. In the meantime, though I'd through up a list and some pics of what I've done.

Hadn't even left the dealer yet

Today, a mere 106 days later.

Wow! Big transformation in such a short time. It took me over a year to do nearly as much to my Red 08 V. Looks Great! I really like the blue. I also really like the color you painted the rear rack from KTM Duals. I had him powder mine before he mailed it out.

I have pretty much stopped doing anything else to my bike for now. I am saving up for a custom seat. Can't decide between a Baldwin, Sargent or a Corbin. I like them all, and like anything else in this world, everyone has their opinion on them as well as each seat has their own good and bad areas.

Again, great looking bike!
Jason

Here is a quick pic of my bike. I am really proud of it and nearly everything I have bought for it came from other members on this site.
