10000+ Miles as of yesterday

Versys hit the first 10k mile mark.

Just tells me I need to ride more... only 10k miles in 13 months BAH!

Goal for the next 12 months is 15k miles

"Why do I ride?"

Awesome dude! I got 68K miles on mine. Change tires, oil, shock oil, brake pads, chain and gears, rinse and repeat.

Cheers!

Sometimes they don't matter, sometimes it's all that matters.

One day I hope to try that...

First I need to figure out how to make my seat not make my butt hurt after 170 miles

I'm at around 11,200 in 10 months... but half that was a long trip this summer. My Toyota Tacoma has been sitting and sitting and sitting. It must think I lost the key.

10,000 in 11 months and not my only bike.

For the numbers, the Versys is m commuter so I don't burn up miles on my bigger bike.

For he iron butt. Forget it. No need for me. I just ride it.

So far just tires and oil changes. My king of bike.

I am at about 10k since March. It takes a lot of commitment and a lot of your wife wondering where the hell you are. My commute is only about 16 miles round trip so I have done lots of exploring.

Seat concepts worked for me. I could and plan on doing an iron butt on it. So far I have done 825 miles in on it in 13 hours.

41037 miles since Oct. 5th 2009, No problems yet that I didn't create myself! Scheming to do ~200 miles tomorrow after church with my fastest riding partner. You wouldn't believe how fast this guy can hustle a KTM 640 Adventure on a truly crooked road?

I bought my 2009 Versys new (leftover) in January 2012. So far, I have a little over 6,600 miles on it. Next Friday, my buddy and I are heading up into Canada, with plans to do the James Bay Road. The two week trip should rack up about another 3k miles. So, by the end of September, with commuting, I should have around 10k miles, after 8 months of ownership. If it wasn't for winter, I'd probably do 20k/yr.

2009 Versys. It blue.
