Headlight bulbs to bright

Since owning my V numerous people including my wife having stated complained that my headlights are too bright at night. They would be in front of me. I have also had people flash their lights at me as if I was on bright light mode but I was not. Anyone have this experience and any suggestions? I own a 2015 V650.

Have you ever checked/adjusted your headlight aim?

Maybe the headlight is not adjusted correctly, and is shining too high.

Have the bike facing a wall 25 feet away. With bike off the stand, and you sitting on the bike, have someone measure the distance from the ground to the center of the headlight. With a piece of masking tape make a horizontal line on the wall at that same height. With you sitting on the bike, off the stand, and lights on high beam, the center of the light beam should be the same height as the masking tape line. Hope this helps.
