Went down yesterday :(

Turned off onto a gravel/dirt shoulder to turn around yesterday like I've done dozens of times before but I think I hit a loose rock or something and ended up on my ass.

One little bruise on my shin and there Doesn't seem to be any major damage to the bike, but I scratched up my left bag and my left side fairing. I may have bent the handlebars but I can't really tell other than it doesn't feel quite right, I'll have to get out a tape measure today and check it. Givi engine guard worked well

Oh well, they only stay pretty when you leave them in the garage I guess!

Also, there's a little plastic sort of push in fastener on the side of the plastic just aft of the turn signal that popped out, where can I find those?

The ride itself was amazing, Highway 1 from Half Moon Bay to Stinson Beach and back.

Freaking gravel. Hasn't got me on the Versys yet but I've dumped my dual sport doing the turn around thing a few times.

Glad you are OK. Bike can be fixed BUT skin ya gotta grow.

My first new bike was dropped in a week due to sand/gravel on the road. A little DS and it hardly had scratch I on the other hand looked like I'd lost a fight with a beltsander. All of 15-20mph but years and years ago when all the gear was a 3/4 helmet and blue jeans.

Or was that look THEN leap?
