Scratched the sheeyaat outa my swingarm (pretty side, too.)

Was careless with my forward rear stand (going by feel rather than looking) and whoops! Bike actually fell away from me but it rested gently against my garage wall where a hose was coiled up so no other damage. Any ideas about a cheap fix? I was thinking silver model type paint or even fingernail polish.

That's a nice back up plan if touch up paint doesn't work. Maybe a Ducati sticker

Above is a pretty swingarm.

IMO, please don't put a Ducati sticker on. If it were me, I'd find the correct color paint in a rattle can, maybe ColorRite has it; if not I'm sure you can get it through Kawasaki. Clean the entire side of the swingarm, sand the edges of the scratch, mask off and spray that side. you should be able to make an edge at the front near the pivot point.

Good luck.

I was kidding about the Ducati sticker! There are Ducistas where I work that not allow it. Then again, they'd probably pay for the paint if I did that

Ouch!

I have a smaller one on my swingarm, suspected my mechanic workshop did it when they paddock stand the bike, but when i saw the nick, I was at home and just wondered what could have caused it.

Thinking of just decal-ling it but can't decide on the decal. That's my problem. It would be great if I can just find the right info and materials on how to add fillers and repaint. Anyone with paint experience mind to share?

It sure is a scratch... They do come in different dimensions and configurations. At least, it didn't get through the primer and gouge the aluminum.

Mask it off and use the correct paint. If scratch edges are bad address that first, fine sand. If you don't touch up the scratch first lightly spray it first to get the scratch lighter. Than spray the swing arm out!
