Here's a few pictures of it after visiting Florida this past summer for my college graduation. The helmet is a Sedici helmet with Sena communications system.

Do you feel the crash bars afford enough protection? It seems to be more fairing protection?

I'm wondering how to protect the lower engine case from being scratched/damaged in the case of an over.

Just because I am Deaf does not mean I can not roar.

Long distance two stroke scooter rider moving onto even longer touring.

From pictures I've seen they do the job. I'm also going to purchase their skid plate as well.

Nice job. Ram also makes a ball mount that attaches to the bike by replacing one of the 4 bolts at the handle bar clamp. It comes with a couple of different diameter/length bolts one of which will fit the Versys. Cost is about $10. I use this as it protects my phone from wind blast in this location and keeps it centrally mounted to the side of my speedo. There is a cheap CNC side stand foot a few sellers have on EBay. Cost is in $10 range at it works very well on bike. I would consider a rear tire hugger, there are a number of different ones made but GIVI seams to be cheapest. They keep grit and grime off of shock which may make it last longer as well as voltage regulator cooling fins. Also perhaps a front fender extender as it will keep crap off of rad.

Gen 3 650s have the voltage regulator under the right-side front fairing.

Little update,

Just received my T-Rex Racing Luggage crashbars. There seems to been issues with mine. Nothing integrity wise, just aren't squared even after massaging and getting into place. Also you can feel the roughness in the paint, missing items. But they work.

Here's some pics...

Just got through installing the T-Rex Racing Skid plate. Super happy with the product and it works with the SW-Motech crash bars.
