Shorter rear spring for lowering.

I was surfing around for Versys aftermarket parts and came across this interesting shortened spring for the rear shock. Does anyone have any experience with this spring or similar springs and what are the Pros and Cons as compared to a link type lowering system.

Still have my Hyperpro. The ride quality sucked with the stock spring. If you use a lowering link you get lower but I suspect not much of an improvement in ride quality. I would have sold the bike by now without the Hyperpro spring, I have some rough roads around here. I am not sure how it work's on a track or with an aggresive rider, I never go more than 20 over the limit. The bike is just more planted at all times. Spring was available in black.

Chitownpete, thanks for your input. It sounds like we have similar ridding conditions. I am not in love with the stock ride quality and would prefer a lower seatting position so it sounds like the hyperpro spring will give me that.

Ont, keep in mind I weigh 230 lbs and usually things are too soft for me. My Versys is the first machine I have owned that was too stiff. Worth every penny.
