Global Warming

With global warming I've found I can ride 12 months a year north of the 45 parallel

Sunny and ~3C/36F here yesterday. Saw a few bikes on the road so decided to take the cover off mine. Ended up going for a 2 hour ride to the nearby hardware store (took the long way).

Seriously with heated jacket liner, heated gloves and insulated motorcycle pants I could have ridden all day at this temp, or cooler, and not been even chilled. Traction is the only issue.

That would mean places that are warm before this, became unbearably hot to even step outside, let alone ride. Gain some, lose some.
