tires, no price attached

Hi Guys
just won a contest and the prize is a set of tires
i know there are a lot of thread about it but -
in those thread you calculate the price and the ROI of any brand
if we put the price out of the equation , which one will be the best ST tire?
any known test for durability / grip of ST tires you heard about ?
i can choose any brand except AVON
i ride mostly at highways ,never go on dirt roads
your tips will be highly appriciated

My 2 cents.

Continental Road attack 2
Bridgestone bt-023
Michelin Pilot Road 2

In that order (assuming price is not a factor).

Very happy with Metzeler Sportec M5 Interact 's, front and rear. It's not a good long distance touring tire, if you're looking for that. I was wanting sticky twisties tires, and these are great for that.

Absolutely hated the stock tires, slicker than snail snot.

Someday is not a day of the week.

I've put over 8 thousand miles on the "Continental Road attack 2's".
Simply brilliant tire!

My only experience (besides OEM) is with Dunlop RoadSmart tires.

They are good in the dry, good in the wet, good on the rough stuff and after 10,000km there is still enough grip and thread in them.

New RoadSmart 2 was just introduced.
Is newer better?
