Got a break

On my way home last night, I got stopped by a nice police officer. Apparently my bag that did not have much in it, so the bungee cord did not have much pressure on it, had slid back on my passenger seat and was blocking my tail light. The police officer pulled me over to let me know he was barely able to see me ahead of him. I don't know why I was so difficult to see as I wear a riding jacket with reflective material. I suppose he could have ticketed me, but he just wanted to make me safe. Thanks Mr. Policeman.

I agree - nice policeman. The only time the Tampa police were nice enough to stop and chat with me it had to do with the velocity I was travelling along Bayshore Boulevard. That BMW R100CS Final Edition got me in more trouble!

Lucky that you were stopped before the bag got jammed in the wheel.
Bungee cords are notorious for failing to adequately secure stuff on a bike.
Might want to consider a different method.
