Got iit!!!

Picked up my brand new 2012 Versys today!

It was only about 35 degrees here in Flagstaff, but that did NOT stop me from taking it on a nice 40 miles ride out in the country.

It's a beautiful machine! Perfect height for me and the power is great. This is my first time riding a bike other than the MSF classes, and it's a absolutely perfect. I'm in love!

Looks pretty mean all blacked out. Better than the official kawi photos for sure.

Awesome! Watch out for that black ice on bridges and overpasses if you're riding early morning or one that's shaded in the a.m. Welcome aboard!

I was glad I got to take it out to an empty country road for a couple hours. It definitely helped to go thru the MSF stuff, but this time on my own bike.

I just went on the freeway for the first time, exhilarating to say the least!

Congrats on the new bike.... looks great!

Get some miles under your belt before you push it too hard. Versys is a great bike the power is deceptive... it can sneak up on you before you know it...

Thanks for the all encouragement! I'm being careful to not let the overwhelming excitement get to my head. Still taking it slowly for a while. But after this morning's ride I think I know what my first accessory purchase is going to be: hand guards! I'm perfectly comfortable riding in the 30 degree weather we have now (layers and wind breakers!), but man did my hands turn into popsicles.

Congrats on your bike , love this all blacked out version.
Not sure if the handguards will help , but the heated grips is a great investment.
