Anybody sell a motorcycle last year??

I sold my 2006 750 Honda Shadow and my little Honda CH80 scooter. Simple reason .... would never ride them. Always jump on the V. The 750 IMO is one the most uncomfortable bikes I've been on. Could probably put 200k on the thing but it hurt after five minutes. The CH80 was really fun but so under powered. I am looking for a KLX 250 in good shape?

Anybody else selling a bike lately? Oh and by the way Happy New Year!

Yeah. I sold my '06 Ninja 650 to buy the '08 Versys. There are things about the Ninja I miss, but the V suits me, and where I want to go, much better!

I sold my 1000 Fazer to buy the Versys. I don't miss the power and am having more fun on the V. Cheaper insurance/running costs is just a by product.

Good luck exploring the infinite abyss

It looks as if some of the posters on your garage wall are there to keep you focused while some are might be a bit of a distraction. Which is which, I wonder?

I sold my Intruder. . . .

I also sold a couple of dirt bikes. . . .

Nobody was riding the dirt bikes, so it was time to let someone else enjoy them. The Intruder was getting to be a pain in the @$$. It was loud, it didn't run consistently well, and it was kind of a gashog.

Did you leave yourself with any bike to ride at all?

I sold my SV1KS - great bike, but time for a change. Got her a little dirty on the last long ride in the Sierras.

Ack, much to my wife's dismay, I went in the other direction.... I bought 4 bikes last year! Bikes are like potato chips... you can't have just one :-)

Added an '05 TTR50 (son, already outgrew), '07 TTR125 (wife), '09 TTR110 (son, upgrade!), and an '09 KLX250s (me of course!) - the family is dirt riding now!

I only have room to park 5 bikes so when I hit 6 I put one up for sale. Unfortunately, I'm at 6 right now and don't want to part with any of them.

Sold my Versys and still considering it's replacement.....

No rhyme, reason or trend but here is what I find myself considering:
Shiver, FZ8, XR1200, Thruxton, Ninja 1K.

I sold my Harley 06 Sportster 1200r and my 08 Suzuki DR650 to buy the Versys but that was 2 years ago. I really miss my Harley, that bike ran perfect but was too small and rode too rough. My next bike is an XR1200 most likely.

Did you get to test ride the xr1200 yet ? I came real close to trading my 2004 1200r( ohlins rear shocks. daul rate fork springs , fork brace, intiminators ,steering damper). in on a 2009 xr1200 . Took it for a test ride and was not impressed at all . Thought my versys was a better all around bike .

Yep, I sold my Versys and bought a Honda Shadow. Put 580 miles on it the first weekend. I buy a new bike every 3 years. It is my hobby I tell my wife.

Actually I lied to my wife. motorcycling is my life

My brother had a pacemaker put in his chest and he was getting all emotional about life, death, etc. He asked me " just when do you plan on dying"?

I told him without any thought whatsoever the day I can't throw a leg over a bike the reaper can come and get me. I am done

I sold a BMW X-Challenge last year.
First, last and only BMW I will ever buy.
That bike cured me of any BMW desire I had or will ever have again.
Give me Kawasaki's or Suzuki's.
