Great pics. I'm planning to head west from SC in a couple of weeks. Intend to visit some of the same spots. Would appreciate any special "insight" you might have on places to camp. Also, what was the highlight of your ride?

Great tires, Did, rain, dirt, twisty and flatlands, about 4000 miles on the trip , I like em and am really impressed as I was never a Bridgestone fan till now.

No idea about camping, I went motel to motel, like the Baverian Inn In Custer
Highlight, I would say either the badlands ( rode a lot of roads paved and not in there) or Custer park. Coin flip.

Custer State Park is has some really nice campsites. I've stayed at the Stockade Lake area and really enjoyed it. Here's a link
http://gfp.sd.gov/state-parks/direct...r/campgrounds/

From there you're relatively close (by South Dakota standards ) to Mt Rushmore, Badlands, Crazy Horse, Rapid City, Sturgis, Deadwood and lots of great roads. Not to mention the Wildlife Loop right in the park. The buffalo heard is really something to see.
