Anyone here ride their Versys on a Military Base?

If so, where did you put your decal on the bike? I usually put it on the fork but with these upside down forks and the fine millwork on the tubes there is no place to put the decal.

Any thoughts?

I go to Nellis AFB frequently to play golf. I'm retired, They haven't issued stickers for a few years now. 100% ID check, all the time.

Nothing's too cruel if it's funny enough.

So I have heard. Army still issues decals. I got into a heated debate about this during a security briefing. Why advertise the fact that this vehicle enters a base, but I have to live within the rules.

What Tony said

I ride mine on base every day that the weather permits (Full time Air National Guard)
DoD decal hasn't been required for awhile...100% ID check and most all bases have PPE requirements which includes helmet, gloves, boots and a bright colored jacket/vest.

my stickers are on the windscreen, vertically on the left edge. my screen is upside down.

In a world full of people, only some want to ride. Isn't that crazy?

Thanks. I thought of that, but I know I will probably end up with at least two aftermarket screens like I did on my Ninja 650.

I might just have to buy a Harley Chrome panel to put the decal on and mount it to a fastener somewhere on the bike.

I guess I will have to ride the KLR to work tomorrow until I get this figured out.

I placed the post sticker on the left fork tube. It sticks fine, no problems so far with it peeling off.

Post Vehicle Registration Sticker

I have a Givi windshield and I put my Post sticker on a small piece of acrylic sheet and bolted it on to the mount. Used spacers to get it closer to the w/s for visibility.

Great Idea Sparky. I went ahead and put the decal on the side of the fork. If it doesn't last I will try something else.
