Thumbs up High Five Cycles in Dallas

On another thread - http://www.kawasakiversys.com/forums...ad.php?t=15166 I was asking for a recomendation for a shop to install some new tires I had.

I ended up going to High Five Cycles in Dallas. They are in the old Al Lamb building on LBJ-635. Service manager Rob Olson was very friendly and didn't treat me like an idiot which is often what I find. I hasten to add I am not an idiot

Picked up the bike yesterday. Two tires mounted and state inspection $118. Not bad I thought - came to be about $45 a tire. Ronnie (?) rung me up and I chatted with him a while. He said they are all bikers and love bikes and work on anything. They had a really good selection of used bikes, some at very attractive prices.

Added bonus, Leslie Porterfield, the fastest woman on two wheels in the US, is the owner. Not only the fastest but easily the hottest too.

Cool.

I wasn't familiar with her, so I just watched a video to get me up to speed... 240 mph on Bonneville Salt Flats... Impressive!

I always like the old Al Lamb service guys. I didn't see any of them there though. Good laid back atmosphere. I'll definitely go back.
