Sold my beatiful DRZ400 SM yesterday. Z1000 anybody?....anybody?

God, i loved that bike. she was a beauty and will be missed.
got a fistful of benny franklins now though and i'm looking at buying a very nice 2007 Z1000 5K miles two brothers dual slip-ons. everything black. $4000

I already have an 08 versys which i love.

Does anyone have current or previous experience with the Z1000? I would like to get some good info before i trade my money for this beast.

I have ridden the 2003 Z1000 but not very much. always liked the Zed.

I'm sure its a great bike, inline 4's do nothing for me tho.
I'm looking to get another V, (sold my last one) or possibly a Triumph Thruxton (Love the parallel twins). Check out the Buell's, V-twin torque in a sport bike frame, just my 2 cents, good luck on your decision!!

yes...v-Twins are exciting. Buells are very nice. Wish they still had home.
I love all types of bikes. it's a sickness i think.

Interested in how the Z1000 compares with the Versys too.
I have had an R1 and it was ok. Need info on the Zed. thanks.

yes...i would love to have a thruxton but can't get one used anywhere and certainly can't afford a 10K bike like that.
