1) Versys (2008) - Simply the best all around bike that I've found. I love the suspension, the 'agressive' feel without the sports position. The motor is tuned perfectly for my riding style. It simply suits me, though now that I'm riding 2-up more often I'm considering something like a Concours or maybe the FJR.
2) VStrom (2008) -- Not a huge fan of the larger front tire (don't do much dirt honestly), it rides very nicely and the motor is top notch.
I have also ridden (in no particular order): Honda 125 (80's), Honda Shadow 650 (late 80's), FZR 600 (late 90's - standard old-school sports bike), Kawasaki EX-250 (2001 - started on this), Kawasaki EX-500 (various years - a larger version of the 250), Bandit 400 (? - strange bike, but good for track if you can find one), Suzuki Savage (2000 - blech, thumper cruiser), Kawasaki Eliminator 125 (2000 - blech! tiny cruiser), Kawasaki Vulcan Classic (2004, I think - more blech!, oversized, powered lazyboy), XJ-600/Seca II (1993 - bike I've had the longest and it holds a special place with me), Suzuki Katana 750 (~2000 - heavy beast but doesn't even need a transmission with all that torque), Ducati MultiStrada 620 (2006, I think - kinda like a Versys. fun, but don't want to own because of the harley-like motor and other issues), Aprilia Tuono (2009 - okay, maybe if I was Rossi I'd have one), Aprilia Mana (2009 - it's a scooter, I don't care what anyone says), Suzuki VStrom 650 (2008 - great bike), Triumph Speed Triple R (2009 - awesome motor but I just didn't like the bike it was attached to) and probably some others I have forgotten.
(Edit Note 1: Whoops, Ducati MultiStrada, not Ducati Monster.)
