Luvin my LV (Little Versys)
After full service, total scrub down and polish, tuning and tweaking over about 4 days I finally got a couple of good rides in.
Must say I am having a ball on my 2015 LV-650. Man what a fun bike. A real joy to go from very complex, expensive, heavy, hot, sophisticated, tire smoking, adventure and sport bikes.
Super easy low tech living without traction control, linked brakes, engine modes, ride modes, electric windscreen, heated grips, gear indicator, oat, etc, etc. On thing I do miss however is the water temp gauge. How hard would that have been to install in the cluster?
This little bike will not set the world on fire with blinding acceleration but I am amazed how fast I can ride this thing. The previous owner installed a set of Dunlop Q3's so I am sure this helps.
The brakes are actually better than on my KTM 1190 Adventure plus slow flight and tight turn arounds do not create the heart burn and anxious moments the taller heaver adventure bike do.
Best $4200 I have spent for a bike in a long time.
Here are a couple of shots from today's ride.
