just installed some of the new Givi gravel series soft bags.

I was looking for some waterproof soft bags and I just couldn't bring myself to pay what SW motech and touratech charge for theirs. I liked the look of the nelson rigg dry bags but apparently they have durability issues. low and behold the came across the new gravel line from givi. I have to say at a first pass I'm very impressed with them. seams are all RF welded, the material is good quality and they're just the right size for my 2014 V 650. I alos bought the givi soft bag support racks. again, also good quality but the installation "instructions" givi sends are absolute garbage, 2 grainy photos and not much else, basically useless. I'm mainly posting this because I tried to find some photos online of these bags on actual use and not just promo shots and there aren't many out there yet because these bags are new. anyway here's a few shots, if anyone wants other photos just let me know.

Some photos of the bag opened and the zipper? that (hopefully) keeps water out would be appreciated. Thank you.

can do, I'll snap a few when I get home from work, there's actually no zipper there's velcro to keep the the 2 edges of the opening lined up and then the top is rolled and snapped into place

Thanks for the actual pictures of a product! I agree, its hard to see from the glamor shots in the adverts what something actually looks like. Would be interested to see how they hold up after a year or so. Stuff them full and get out for a nice ride!

twisted throttle had them for I think $179, they had a sale going. they're actually bigger than I expected, they fit the V perfectly. I was pleased to see that all the seams are RF welded as well.

Do you have them on backwards? Just looking at the Givi pix compared to yours.

Either way, congrats!
